Gimme Gimme Disco at 9:30 Club: Frequently Asked Questions
When is Gimme Gimme Disco at 9:30 Club in Washington, DC?
Gimme Gimme Disco is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026, at 9:30 Club, 815 V St NW, Washington, DC 20001. Check your ticket and the venue's event information for the latest door and show times.
What kind of event is Gimme Gimme Disco?
Gimme Gimme Disco is a disco-themed dance party celebrating music from the disco era. Expect a DJ-led night built around dance-floor favorites rather than a traditional concert by a band. The 9:30 Club's intimate, approximately 1,200-capacity setting puts the crowd close to the action.
How much do Gimme Gimme Disco tickets cost?
Prices currently start around $40, with many tickets typically ranging from approximately $40 to $150. Prices can change with availability, seat or viewing location, and market demand. Check ticketsfairfax.com for current listings and prices before purchasing.
Is the 9:30 Club a seated venue?
The 9:30 Club is generally a general-admission standing venue, with an open main floor and a wrap-around balcony offering elevated views on three sides of the room. Availability and access to specific areas can vary by event, so review the ticket details before you buy.
Where is the best place to stand at 9:30 Club?
For a balanced view and sound, the center of the main floor about one-third of the way back from the stage is a strong choice. The front-center balcony can offer a wider, elevated perspective. For the closest and most energetic experience, arrive early and head toward the main floor, subject to event access and crowd conditions.
What is the worst place to stand or watch at 9:30 Club?
There is no universally poor viewing spot, but areas at the very back of a crowded floor may feel less immersive, and views from behind taller guests can be limited. If clear sightlines are important, consider arriving early or looking for balcony access when it is available for this event.
What are the parking options for 9:30 Club?
The club's official parking lot is at 2366 9th St NW, a few blocks from the venue, and is listed as opening one hour before general-admission doors. Spaces and opening details may vary, so confirm before traveling. Nearby paid parking may also be available through SpotHero. Street parking in the U Street area is limited and competitive on show nights.
What is the easiest way to get to 9:30 Club without a car?
U Street/Cardozo Metro station on the Green and Yellow lines is a short walk from the club and is a convenient option for many visitors. Rideshare vehicles can drop off on V St NW in front of the venue. Allow extra time for the walk and post-event crowds.
What is the bag policy at 9:30 Club?
Bag rules can change and may be specific to the event. Check the 9:30 Club's current entry policy before leaving home, and bring only essential items in a small bag that meets the venue's posted requirements. Security screening may be in effect.
How long does a Gimme Gimme Disco event usually last?
Set length can vary by event, and a specific running time has not been provided for this date. Plan for a DJ-led dance party rather than a standard concert set, and check the event listing and venue updates for door times, schedule details, and any announcements about the night.
Will there be an opening act?
